Death Valley Sand Dunes
The sand dunes near Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley are a beautiful surprise. The wonderful shapes and contrasts are best viewed just after sunrise or just before sunset, when the many textures of the sand are revealed. Although there are many colors to see, I personally favor the boldness of this image in black and white.
